We achieve rapid delivery, precise delivery promises and delivery on time.
Internal logistics
Raw material and production contracts are managed by a computer-supported merchandise managing system.
Incoming materials are booked into the system. Consumption is booked out. The goods produced in the fabrication
works are booked into the system with information about completion state, quantity and location. We use forklifts
with integrated computers for all internal material movements. These allow online booking of every location change.
This allows us to have all fabrication-relevant information immediately at our disposal. Control of the goods flow
within the company is carried out using deadline, time and route optimisation.
External logistics
Delivery to the customer in addition to supply of external processes such as surface protection takes place using
our own vehicles in addition to contract hauliers, taking account of all optimisation possibilities for benefits
and costs. If possible, logistics circuits are set up in the form of milk run concepts. The Kanban control system
from Japan has achieved special importance in this context.
Logistic value adding chain
Glüpker Blechtechnologie GmbH understand itself to be part of a logistics value adding chain. Just-in-time and
just-in-sequence is aimed at a tightly co-ordinated linkage of production processes between customer and supplier.
The requirements for the successful implementation of such processes are, in addition to targeted flexibility and
quantitative stabilisation of the performance processes on the supply side, especially logistic linking of production
processes from supplier and manufacturer via consumption detection, dispensing with warehouse stocks as problem buffers
as much as possible in addition to the use of standardised load carriers and processes. The logistics chain must be
able to react quickly and without problems to changes in demand, changing customer behaviour and market changes.
Glüpker Blechtechnologie GmbH is capable of fulfilling its part within the logistics chain.
